We offer in-house moisture control services, including crawl space barriers and venting. Arkansas law requires inspectors to disclose conducive moisture conditions on the clearance letter form. When we find those conditions, we can address them directly rather than leaving the buyer or seller to locate a separate contractor. That single point of contact can help keep a transaction moving when findings require remediation before closing.

What to Expect During Your WDI/WDO Inspection

A WDI inspection covers the visible and accessible areas of the structure: foundation walls, crawl spaces, accessible attic spaces, sill plates, floor joists, rim joists, baseboards, door frames, and exterior wood in contact with soil. We look for mud tubes (the shelter tunnels subterranean termites build to reach wood), frass (insect droppings), exit holes from boring beetles, hollow or damaged wood, discarded swarmer wings, and visible moisture damage.

We also document conducive conditions: wood-to-ground contact, excessive crawl space moisture, poor drainage near the foundation, and firewood or heavy vegetation against the structure. We don’t conduct a surface pass and hand over paperwork. We check for the root causes that attract pests in the first place and explain what we find in plain language before any service decision is made. Free inspections mean you have the facts before you spend anything.

After the inspection, findings are recorded on the NPMA-33 form. If no active infestation is present and the property meets requirements, we issue the clearance letter and 12-month termite contract. If active infestation is found, we can move directly to treatment, which can help shorten the timeline to closing.
